Portugal is one of my favorite travel destinations in the world. There are stunning beaches, fairytale palaces, delicious wines and a collection of wonderful villages that still carry on their charm and traditions. All travelers who choose Portugal as their destination know Lisbon, Porto, or Algarve, but Portugal has far more than these popular spots. If you go down the beaten road, you will find a wonderful place that is not yet known to most tourists.
